Well my appt with the surgeon has arrived, I have to be in her office at 1pm tomorrow and I am sooo nervous!  I am down 10lbs since I started the journey, I had lost 20 lbs but gained some back as I was hovering on the 40 BMI and didnt want to give the insurance company a reason to say no.  I have to print out all my new patient forms and get them filled out before I meet with her.

Now my stomach is in knots... what if she says I am not a candidate?  What if my insurance does not approve it?  The surgeon's paperwork states I need to have a referral sent to her by my PCP; that isnt going to happen as my PCP said there is no way in HE** that she will ever refer me for surgery.  "You just need to stop being lazy and get moving, stop eating junk, and excercise more!!"  UGH...

I'm so ready to get this new tool and to start working the heck out of it... I HATE Summer and being fat! I hate wearing shorts or a bathing suit... I just want to shop in the normal women's section and not have to worry about buying tents to cover all the rolls and such!! 

Hoping the surgeon says it's a go and gives me my date... that way I can have surgery in July and hopefully see ONEDER-LAND by the end of Summer in August/September!!

I want my feet and my legs back... not these kankles I have going on now! HA HA HA

For anyone (Deb C?!) that had Dr. Campbell - how was she?  Did you have to convince her to do the surgery?  Anyone on the border of losing all their weight and she turned you down??

Wish I didnt have to search for a full time job now... anyone know of anything let me know!! Office, Sales, Customer Service... Hubby says we need me working and the kids in daycare so the hunt begins!!

1 year ago today I had my surgery, I can't believe it has been 1 year already.  It has taken me through all of my emotions and knowing that I am healthier today than I have been in decades makes me feel even better.  Knowing I have done something positive in my life to allow me to be here for my boys means more than words can express.  So here are some pics of before and after 1 year.
It took me almost 6 months before I could see a difference.

I am sorry to hear you are having so many problems.  Can I make a suggestion?  This is a complex surgery....please get the best surgeon you can...one who has done this before.  I believe my surgeon has done this before... he gets all the complex cases other doctors will not touch.  Believe it or not he has a ton of patients from NH and other states in New England.  He also does bariatric research one day a week....
Please get a 2nd opinion before you proceed with a reversal so you will know all your options and can make the best decision for your health.
