How was your weekend?
I seem to do so much better during the week, does anyone else have that problem?  DH has been having issues and is going to be having exploratory surgery either this week or next to try and figure out what is going on with him.   So this weekend he didn't want to do much because of the pain.  I did walk quite a bit, many small walks (3 a day) but still didn't make the best food choices.  So today I have planned and packed a great lunch and am starting to get back on the planning wagon.

Breakfast - Egg cheese & bacon wrap
snack - Greek Yogurt w/ blueberries
Lunch - 4 oz Steak w/ small salad
snack - popcorn
Diner - Chicken breast w/ 1/2 sweet potato

Thanks,
I am very excited to have come this far and to keep going.  Weekends seem to be my downfall, sounds weird, but I plan better for the work week and need to figure out weekends better.  You look great as well.

Thanks again
Laurie

CONGRATS!  Welcome to the club!  I am now only 1 1/2 lbs away from one-der-land!  Can't wait.  Should happen by the end of this week!  Woo Hoo!  I was aiming for my birthday in August, but I'll take the end of June, no problem.

Good luck and hope all goes well!

Record, record, record! Write down (or use something online or an app on your phone) to list EVERYTHING you put in your mouth. I used myfitnesspal.com and it worked well for me. Once I used up all my calories for the day, I was done! Oh, and exercise is NOT negotiable! You must do it now, get used to it and continue after surgery. It's for life!

Linda,
first breath, the weight will come off if you follow your plan.   There is always a stall after the first couple  of weeks.  I know your fears, it will come off and you will lose more weight.  Your body has been a tremendous change and it will take a while for it to recover.  Just relax and follow your plan.  I know it is hard, but it will happen.  Make good choices now and learn the good habits.  Congrats on being on the losers bench and starting on your new life.
