Good morning!

Well, I am still doing really well, even though I have found that peanut butter is not my friend  which really stinks.  One of my favorite snacks is peanut butter and apples!  But I also realize that right now it will not get me to where I want to be.

I now weigh less than I have weighed since I can remember.  It was so nice to finally break that point that seemed to be my set weight.  That weight was okay, but not where I wanted to be.  My goal is eventually to get into my wedding dress from 33 years ago!  It will be a challenge, but I think I am up to it.  Besides what a hoot it would be to renew our vows in the same dress I took them in!

Hi Linda,

So glad for you!  It is amazing to think that the more food you eat, within reason, the more you lose!  Don't forget, slow is sometimes good...and you are moving in the right direction!  Keep up the great work!

It seems the nutritionist was correct!  I have been consuming more calories this week and the scale is finally starting to move downward again !!! just an ounce away from hitting the 90 pound mark and moving down another decade on my weight !! Just one more pound and another decade to hit the 100 pound mark !!  I can feel it in my reach even at this snail's pace.  It's amazing how your attitude changes when the scale moves !

Topic: RE: Frustrating Stall... Suggestions?
I was reading on someone else's page that they found that when they increased their calorie content they were able to kick start the weightloss again.  She figured that her body was just in starvation mode and most likely she was right.  Good luck

I am in the same boat Debbie !  I have not lost since August 11th...I have the same two pound window that just keeps going up and down.  Met with the nutritionist yesterday and she said I am not eating enough.  Go figure .... So, I am now going to eat a bit more and up protein and hopefully that shakes things up.  She suggested two shakes a day again.  I looked up some new recipes for protein drinks and will be trying them out, I will let you know if they are any good !  I still have at least 28 pounds to lose, preferably more !

Ok,
here are the pics of Justin & I at the top of Table Rock.  Also a pic of him on the trail so you can sort of see how steep it is.
Can't wait to do something like this again with him!!!

Yes, that is the one.  I think the snow machine would have been so much easier, but I am so proud that I made it up and back in one piece.  It was so great to do that with him.  It is a memory that I will never forget.
