Hi all I'm having my first meeting with Dr. Looser in a week and a half. Made my goal weight in a month and have lost 12 lbs more. How long do you think it will be till I get my surgery? All my meetings are done and had pre-op testing a week ago.

Thanks Martha,
The hits keep coming, but I am determined not to slide back.  My stress relief is to cook or bake, so the neighbors and work have been getting some goodies, and I am try new things all the time.

Sookie, you look absolutely awesome.  To withstand everything that you have endured this year, and remembering the skills to get you where you want to be is truly amazing!  Keep up the great work.

It has been a tough year for DH and I, and it is still going on, but we were able to go out and enjoy a little time with friends and this is the pic of us together and that just makes my day.  Never thought I would like to post pics of me.

Debbie,
That is such a great feeling.  Keep up the great work and you will be at your next goal  before you know it.

I am a newly annointed proud member of the Century Club! It has been 6 months since my surgery and I have lost 100 pounds since starting the process in December of last year. I am so happy and grateful for this process.

Thank you to everyone for their support and kindness! Best wishes to all of you out there who are working it every day and looking forward to getting to your goals. It feels fantastic, yet unreal all at the same time.

Next goal: only 2 more pounds to go until I'm just "overweight" and not "obese". Just imagine! "Just overweight" being a goal. LOL!!

Congratulations!  Just remember, it's progress, not perfection.  You are so much healthier than you were before.  Give yourself a break every once in a while.  And when you do, give yourself some credit, too!

Absolutely!  I'm in and flexible for dates and times.  I would also be willing to do an evening as well.

Way to go!  I am so glad things are going well and you are continuing your weight loss journey.  We all have stalls and you not giving up is such a big part of this journey.  Happy belated Birthday, I hope you have a happy healthy year and look back 1 year from now and see how many changes you have made.
