Topic: RE: Disability
I have a friend that is bipolar and is on disability.  Really the only one who could answer your questions is someone who knows the law and the rules.  I know many lawyers, but to give you a name I would need to know where you live.  PM me if you are more comfortable.

Remember, each case is different.  I have menierre's disease, which many people get disability, but I am not "bad" enough to qualify.

It is frustrating, but you have to do this for you, not your husband, his job, or anything else.  Just you.  You quit smoking, but actually that is easier than trying to cut down your eating.  Why?  Because you don't HAVE to smoke, but you still have to eat.

You just have to do it.  Remind yourself each day, hour, minute if needed that you are headed for a healthier, happier life.  Is it worth that piece of chocolate, or extra serving?  Is it worth the stress you are putting on yourself to eat?  It is a hard choice to make, but as they say, JUST DO IT!!!!!!

Topic: RE: Early Announcement for the April 26th meeting
The meeting is at Portsmouth Reginal Hospital, 6:30pm in the classrooms at the Shoal Building.

That is great about Sam speaking.  I am having my RNY on April 16th, I will be 10 days post-op and I really hope to be there.  You and Sam have been a great support for me and I thank you both so much.

All I have to do is loose 10 lbs to just get the appt to meet with Dr.Gould! I have ALL my paperwork done, psych eval's done etc, etc. I've been going to the bariatric seminars in Manchester for 6 months now. I feel like a freakin idiot because WHY the hell am I having such a massive hard time to loose this weight. I did I lost 5 lbs and only needed to lose 5 more, then at xmas time I put 3 lbs on but I was still down. Then lost 2 lbs now I just got weighed in and gained 3 more lbs since Easter. So now I have lose 8 lbs! AHHH then my husband is all bent out of shape because he thinks once I drop the 10 lbs it's an automatic schedule the surgery. No what happens I told him I have to wait for an opening JUST to meet with Dr. Gould to go over my plan, that could be 2 months to wait just for that appt! So I could gain weight waiting! Then from there we schedule the surgery which could be up to a 7-8 week wait from there! So he's just annoyed because I realize he has to give his company notice and the summer time is much easier for him to take off then fall/winter time! It's frustrating all around! I need to get my stuff in gear and get in gear! My will power just simply has to change! I'm 36 yrs old and have been cigarette free for 5 yrs! I have no Temptations and I can quit that! Food is just so hard and it's temptations everywhere I go and I cave in so much!! URRRGGHH Sorry to vent just need to get it out!

I know this is early, but I am just excited lol my DH Sam will be the speaker at the April 26th meeting.    He is down 210lbs between the pre surgery weight loss and in the 10 months post op.  OK so enough from me just a little excitement.

Have a great weekend.
