Topic: RE: 18 Days out!
I'm back!! The first week was a struggle for sure....dizzy...and weak. Feeling great now!!! My total last so far is 82 lbs. I have noticed that I'm not loosing as fast now. Maybe 5 lbs a week, or less. My co-workers are shocked at how much I lost so far.
Eating normal food is nice too....

Topic: RE: Time off after surgery...
My job is very physical and I was planning on going back after 2 weeks. I ended up taking 3 weeks off and maybe could have taken 4 weeks. My first week back I was getting tired easy and feeling weak. I had my baypass on Dec. 19th 2011. Right now I'd say I'm back to normal!!

Topic: RE: Support Groups
Hello!
I attend the CMC support group regularly and they are fantastic. Everyone is open and kind and it is absolutely free!
Best of luck to you!
With obesity being such an epidemic, it's shocking that there are no programs in Nashua!

Nancy,
thank you. Good news after almost 4 months the scale actually moved in the right direction. It is only 1lb but I reweighed for 4 days in a row to make sure I actually lost that pound lol
Thanks again

Topic: Happy with lab tests?
Is there anyone in
NH that is happy with the amount of lab tests they have done each year?
I hear on other boards a list a mile long that their Dr. tests them for yearly.
My General Practioner barely tests for anything.
I had Dr. Gens but even he would not test me for what I wanted, it is my $$$ , so why can`t I have every test under the sun, atleast 1 time a year>
I am 4 yrs out and borderline anemic and liver enyzmes are high.
I just would feel better if I had a baseline of a COMPLETE ROVERHAUL of all tests possible that relate to Gaqstric by Pass, so is there anyone out there that is satisfied with their labs?
Help???

I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
On the other hand keep up the good work with the weight loss.

2 years ago today I lost my mom, so much has changed for me in that time. I am now almost 130 lbs lighter and I think she would be proud of me for doing this for me and my health. This is a video of her commital service in a little town Errol, and my youngest son sings at the 5 minute 30 second mark. If I could just post the pic of me sitting beside him, I would. I never saw how big I was, and I had already lost my weight and was just waiting on a date for surgery when this was taken. It was 2 weeks pre surgery. Wow what a change in life.

Topic: RE: Just got my surgery date
Congrats!! I think Mary and Sookie told you everything I would have brought with me. But to me it was a break from everything. I didn't bring anything except for comfortable clothes to wear I don't like the hospital gowns and slippers. My cell phone was a must its my life line. but that was all.
Best of luck!!
