Ahhh! I just got a call saying my surgery is scheduled for Feb. 21! I can't believe this! I feel like everything has happened so fast and now its so close! I am so excited/nervous/scared...everything! I just had to share my news on here.

I know many who go to the CMC group meeting. The Portsmouth group used to have a meeting in Derry every month, but I am not sure when.
I know it is a ways away, but Portsmouth post op meetings every 2nd Monday of the month at 5:30

Well I know that I am late in replying, but I remember being so very nervous my first meeting. Dr. Gens was wonderful, so kind and caring. He and I hit it right off. Let me know how your meeting went.

You have indeed come a very long way. It is so difficult to recover from the loss of a loved one. But to have such a beautiful remembrance as that is wonderful. You are a beautiful woman, large or small....Your mom would be so very proud. I know mine would be too! So keep the memories close to your heart. Know that she is with you always.

The next Post-Op meeting is the 13Th of February at 5:30,
the next Pre-op meeting is on the 27Th of February.
They are the 2ND Monday and 4Th Monday of the month.

Yep I gained a few pounds after surgery but it went away in 3-4 days. I took some reading material and IPOD but never used or read anything. I tried to walk as much as I could in my hospital gown....that was a hoot. Bring a robe!!!
When I got home I walked on the treadmill and tried not to sit for long periods of time. I went in on Dec.19th....
Good Luck you will love it after the getting through the first few weeks.
