I have Anthem BCBS also, and I am just starting out. I am nervous about the approval process as well. They sent me an email saying that it is covered when medically necesssary, I'm just wondering how many hoops I will have to jump through. These comments are all very encouraging though!

I'm going to stay with 1200 minutes.
I don't have little kids anymore and I have the opportunity to go to the gym on my lunch atleast 2-3 days a week which makes a huge difference. I'm very lucky with that. It is challenging to not feel guilty about doing something for me. There are times when I feel very rushed. or thinking that I should be doing this or that. I always keep telling myself that exercise is key to my success and well being. I must admit thought that when I call my husband after work and say that I'm going for a run or heading to the gym I feel guilty. He's usually very good about it - usually. :)
Just do the best you can and try to take baby steps to do something for you.

Topic: RE: April Exercise Challenge, Week 4
Hi Martha,
You'll settle in before you know it. I hope you are enjoying it. It's nice to have a new challenge.
I had 210 mins for week 3 and 280 mins for week 4 to bring my total to 1205. Just made my goal.
Good luck at the new job :)

Topic: RE: Surgery or Spring?
It is funny, my hair was not affected by my surgery, but my nails were. As soon as I started getting more protein in, they went back to the hard awesome nails I have always had.

I also have BCBS and had absolutely no problems. In fact, the policy that our business had originally would not cover the insurance, but they worked with me so we could change the insurance to a policy that would cover it, and even gave it to me at a reduced rate for the remainder of the year. I got approved in 2 days, and they paid for the repair of the hiatal hernia also. I have not had a problem with them since.
