I used to be able to swallow just about any pills until my last fill. Now they are getting harder to swallow. I had been taking the Citracal Petite's but now even split they still get stuck. Some people with the band don't have any problems, but I seem to be having difficulties within the last few months. I guess the band is working!

Hi Martha,
Just curious, why are you still on chewables, is it because of the band not doing pills well? I have a friend going for a revision and will have a band after having RNY. just wondering if it is common to have issues after the band.
I use Citracal Petite Cal. Cit w/D but they are not chewable... but I also have no issues getting horse pills down either...lol

Well, after sliming for about the 100th time on my calcium tablets, I thought I would post to see what kind of chewable calcium everyone likes. I really need to find something. I can't do even the petite calcium citrate tablets anymore.

Oh Boy, I think I have ounces on the brain. Yes, you should have 60 GRAMS of protein! Thanks Sookie. I love the beach and Dunkin Donuts coffee idea. That is awesome. What a great "us" time too!

Thanks for the replies. i am feeling better. I am actually pretty excited right now. I think I have done all me prelim. work and should at least have an appointment date with the surgeon next week. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

HI, I drank the HMR protein drink and lost weight very fast. I first did 2 weeks drinks no food and then did 2 drinks and dinner. It came off very fast. Try the Atkins drinks also. Good luck.

Lisa, you are making all of us so proud. You are living your life to the fullest. Make sure you are getting enough protein and such! I so wish I could attend your class.
My new job is getting better and better every day. I am starting to feel more comfortable and almost like I know what I am doing. I am finally getting work, and keeping up with it. It is so nice to work with people who want to work!! And there is no drama!!! I am keeping an even keel with my weight, which is good. I wish I could start to really lose right now, but with my craziness, I am just happy to maintain. It really is so much harder with the band, although I am not regretting my decision at all.
Keep up the great work, and post every now and again. Love to hear about your successes.
