thanks Kathy.  I was using the Bariatric Advantage powdered, but I started noticing a change in the taste of what I added it to, so I stopped.  Didn't like the taste!  I will have to check these out!

I think Kathy is right, I think that is why I stopped taking them.  But now taking nothing is not good, so I may go back to them.

Martha -
Try this link.  It's for UpCal, which is powdered calcium citrate with Vitamin D.  You add it to your beverage, and it doesn't alter the flavor of what you're adding it to.  I've tried it before, and I didn't even realize I was taking my calcium.

No, I don't think they are calcium citrate.  I think they're calcium caltrate, and our bodies won't absorb that as well.

Martha, what about the Viactiv soft chews?  I have had them before, the chocolate ones are very yummy, and they have Vitamin D as well.  I'm not sure it they are Calcium Citrate or not though.

Topic: RE: June Exercise Challenge Week 2
Did better this week thanks to the weather cooperating and letting me walk at lunch. I'm glad it did since I got thrown several curve balls this week setting off my planned work outs (including hubs drilling through his thumb... gym is defiantly better on a Friday than the ER! he is fine, just a Murphy )
Anyways, I got in 355 minutes last week.
Hope to do as well this week!

I got 380 minutes in last week.  I had a marathon day on Friday, walked to work, walked to the gym at lunch and did 1/2 hour on the circuit, then walked back to work, and after that walked to the north end (Angela's Cheese & Pasta Shop) for a wine tasting.  From there, I took a ride home from my daughter and son in law because my legs were pretty tired!
