Topic: RE: telling friends
Hi Jill,
Is your friend heavy also? It could be that she is upset that you were able to make the decision to make a better life for yourself, and it could be as simple as thinking she will lose her "eating buddy". For the most part, everyone I told was very supportive, except for my sister who rolled her eyes and said that nothing would work for her, she is also very heavy. She hardly speaks to me know, but that is her problem. Just be yourself, and show her that even though you are getting healthier and able to do more things, you are still her friend. If she chooses to go a different path, you will know that you did what you could to make your friendship work.

Hi Jillian,
I use this website all the time to reduce pictures for avatars and such. Just pick the picture you want, and then chose the pixel size. Works all the time.

Topic: Protein bar Coupon
http://www.thinkproducts.com/coupons/BarBitesCouponX033112.p df
OK, so even 20 months out I still struggle with protein some days, so I am always trying new protein bars and drinks I found this brand at Hannafords they are $2.00 a bar but with the coupon it makes them $ 1.00 which isn't a bad price. I had the peanut butter this morning for breakfast and it wasn't bad. I think more peanut butter taste would have been better but 20 g of protein and no sugar it was worth it.
Hope you enjoy. I have the brownie one for tomorrow and hopefully it will be as enjoyable.
Have a great day!!!

Topic: RE: Chest Pain
Where is the pain? Have you had is since the surgery? Has it moved? I know it hurts to walk and move, but you need to, also do you have a rocking chair? That helped me get the gas moving while I wasn't walking much (due to knee issues) but it did help move things along. If it is not moving getting better or worse call the Dr. They don't mind and will not make fun of you or be upset that you called. Just the opposite, they get upset if you have questions and you don't call. Hope you feel better soon.

Topic: RE: Chest Pain
I had a burning pain in my side but the doctor said it could be from hitting a nerve during surgery. It lingered for 3 weeks then it went away. Chest pain no.

Hello everyone,
I am 5 days post op for gastric bypass and I am still have chest pain. The doctors and nurses said it was from the gas, but it hurts to walk, drink or eat anything. Did anyone else experience anything similar?
