Our group has had a couple of plastic surgeons come in a speak at a general group meeting.  For the life of me, I cannot remember their names though.  I do know that both require that you be at least 6 months at a stable weight and not losing anymore.  Insurance may cover some of the cost, but you need to have a medical reason documented by your doctor (rash, sores..stuff like that).

Well, I am not going to get discouraged, but when I weighed myself today, I had gained 1.8.  Not exactly the direction I was hoping to go.  I really don't know what happened, but it may give credence to the fact that you should not weigh yourself every day!!!

Anyway, still going with my plan:

Breakfast:  Blueberry Greek yogurt and 1/4 cup granola

Lunch:  1 1/2 cup salad with 3 ounces tuna and parmesan peppercorn lite dressing (3 tbls)

Dinner:  Shrimp (4 medium to large) cooked in garlic, smart balance margarine and lemon over 1/4 cup noodles with 2 tablespoons fresh parmesan cheese and salad with 1 tbls dressing.

I have baby bell light cheese (2) and kashi crackers (14) for snack.  I am eating breakfast late because I had iced coffee (made with sugar free coffee mate) on my way into work.

I am not sure about Dartmouth or CMC, but I know that Portsmouth is not yet qualified to do the surgery.  I think that Nancy said in our last meeting that they are working on it, but not sure.

Are there any surgeons in NH that will perform this surgery yet?  It's about time progress took hold here.  I have been to NY and PA to qualify, but I would rather have this surgery at home.   Debi

Hi All,

Any suggestions for plastic surgeons in the Seacoast Area?  I am looking to have a tummy tuck.   What was your experience like & how, if at all, did they work with your insurance?

Thanks,
Lisa

Use the single serving packets, so one packet will last two days.  I also tried the cherry pomegranate this morning and that was really yummy.  Can't wait to try other flavors!

Your making good choices bamma!!

i stuck to my plan pretty well yesterday except i only had a few bites of halibut and decided i was'nt in the food for fish so i had 2 hard boiled eggs...
but my totals were still were they need to be i think  980 cal and 100g i think this is what my body seems to want and i am eating every 3-4 hrs and i am rarely hungry..

so for today

iced coffee with 1/2 and 1/2 on the way to work( starting tomorow skim milk)
breakfast - EAS carb advantage shake
lunch - approx. 3 oz of halibut with miracal whip and 6 wheat thins
snack 1- greek yougert
snack 2- pure protein bar
dinner - 3-4 oz steak and 1/2 baked potato
if i stick to this it will put my totals at 975 cal and 100g for the day..
