I'm totally game - sounds like a great idea!!  I'm on the Seacoast, but am willing to travel whereever.  What would a good central location be for everyone?  The lake/picnic suggestion sounds awesome!

Topic: RE: Friday's Plan

Bamma  just give it a week and i bet there will be a big swing !!

i did pretty well sticking to my plan yester day with one change.. the wife did'nt cook the pork chops while i was at my 2nd job so when i got home i had to make my own dinner so i went with a fried egg on an a 100 cal round and 4 shrimp and 1/4 cup bow tie pasta salad ... not too bad of choices and it kept me arount the 1000 cal mark (1090) so its all good..
here is todays plan..

iced coffee made with sugar free coffeemate(yum thanks Bamma)
breakfast- EAS carb advantage shake
lunch...4 chinise fish dumplings with hot sause ( orential woman at work makes them YUM!)and 4 wheat thins to get the fire out of my mouth
snack 1- brown cow greek yougert
snack 2 - pure protein bar (my new fav.)
dinner -we will be camping so it will either be steak or burgers with grilled summer sguash and some bowtie salad...
night cap a couple of vodka and crystal lights..

hope every one has a great week end!

There is no need to look back unless you plan on going that way!

Martha,
You are doing it right.  It's so discouraging, isn't it?  I got on the scale this morning, and I am exactly the same as I was in May - but I've been working so hard, I feel like I should be losing something!

Anyway, are you drinking enough water?  May be these last two little ups are just from fluid retention - in this heat, I think we tend to hold on to fluid even more than usual.

Sounds like you're going to have a great weekend.  I haven't been water skiing in 30 years.  Have a blast!

Okay, I keep telling myself...I will not get discouraged!!!  Up another .8.....UGH.  I am sticking to it though.  If anything, I am feeling better!

Breakfast:  Muscle Milk light vanilla shake with 1 cup smart balance milk and 1/2 packet cherry-pomegranate crystal light

Lunch:  Salad with 3 ounces tuna and 3 tbls lite parmesan peppercorn dressing.  Jello sugar free mousse.

Dinner:  probably a 3 ounce burger and salad.

I have California natural mix (2 ounces) and baby bell cheese for snacks.  I also have kashi crackers.  I have noticed that I don't need a morning snack, but still need an afternoon one.  Probably because we don't eat dinner until very late!  Going to camp this weekend, so will swim, walk, walk some more....and some more, water ski, all kinds of stuff.  Hopefully I will see a down arrow on Monday!

Thanks Martha!  Thanks Grant!  I've got a little ways to go but figured it wouldn't hurt to start the process.

Hi All,

At the Portsmouth support group meeting mentioned above, Dr. Sepic ( http://ow.ly/2c4cb ) was the last plastic surgeon to present. But other plastic surgeons have presented as well!  Here is a link to the plastic surgeons on active staff at the hospital.  Good luck...hope this helps! http://ow.ly/2c45n

Best,
Grant

Topic: RE: band and revision planned for next week
I know how you feel, I had the same problem, it did not start for me until I had a fill one day and then the acid reflux was so bad I could nto eat for 2 weeks, they tried everying, I went baout 6 months and I could not take it anymore, I had it removed, I as well was very afarid, I know people who had a bypass and had major problmes, it scares me as well, i opted for now to just have the band out and see how that goes I can tell you that every day is a struggle nad some days I win and others I dont, I have learned to take things one day at a time and that i have to watch everythign that i eat i am able to eat "normal" portion so I measure everything, I dont know what the future will bring but I am trying it solo for now, I had the same feelings of shame and regreat, I also felt like everyone was going to be waiting for me to gain back the weight and point at me and say see told you so, it was very frustraing, but once I was able to get out of my own head I decided to increase exercise and atch what I est, i had the band removed in May and 2 months later I have not gained weight, have not lost but I been able to maintained and right now that is all the I am looking to do, I wish you the best of luck, I know how hard this can be....
