Stuck to the plan alright yesterday, except for maybe that peanut butter cookie I had at the work meeting. That was a bad choice, but seeing that in the past I would have had the magic cookie bar with all the choc in the world in it, I chose best for the situation.

so todays plan is:

Breakfast: egg/egg substitute scramble with low fat cheese and 2 wasa crackers

Lunch: 1 cup chili with low fat cheese

Dinner: 4oz pork chop with veg of some sort

Dessert: No sugar added fudgesicle

Exersice didnt go as planned again. Once again, no gym. Was supposed to do a family bikeride but the kido was acting up so I went on a loan ride... 10 miles later I made it home. Felt great but the legs are NOT pleased with me today!

Topic: a plan for thursday
hi all..

yesterday i did OK on my plan with the exception i was very hungry after work and knew i was not going to be home till 8:30 or so ... so i decided to have a buffalo chicken flat bread from subway(i love these things) i left off the cheese and just had lett. tomato and onion with a little bit of ranch ... i think this was a good choice

well for today's plan..

iced coffee with 4 tbs of sugar free coffee-mate
breakfast- EAS carb advantage shake
lunch - tuna with 6 wheat thins and lite mayo
snack- brown cow Greek yogurt
snack 2 (if Needed) pure protein bar
dinner- this is going to be the hard one.. i am going to be on the road to a weekend long car show and i am not sure what the plans are for dinner tonight. but i will make the best choice that i can!
i managed to walk at lunch yesterday and the weather looks of for walking again today so a little exercises will help if i eat a few extra calories at the show this w/e(not planning on it though)

I have tried and like the Unjury you have to order on-line but they do offer them buy the individual packets I have tired the choclate and they even have unflavored so you can add it to different things. The Chicken soup is good too.

Best of luck!

Thanks to all that posted !   It is certainly a great feeling to know you are not alone and that many others have had the same fears.

I am in NH but am having the surgery in MA,  Dr. Darius Ameri.  This whole process is going so much smoother than I had expected and certainly a lot faster than anticipated.

I have a few more apts to go and then that's it.

You know,  I'm a nut.  I must be!   I have had two nightmares relative to the surgery !   One I drempt that the surgeon got called out for something and left me on the table in the middle of the surgery and then the other one was that the surgeon came to my work and told me i needed to have it done that day and couldn't see my children before i had it.  Again,  I'm clearly nuts !!!

I will start poking around to find some individual packets of protein drinks.  The only one I really like is Slim fast but I believe that's too much sugar and not enough protein.  (Too bad because it tastes good )

Thanks again and I look forward to talking to you all !

Yes, it's true.1 year ago yesterday was my surgery and as of today I am down 82.5 pounds, weighing in at 166.5 and I'm doing the skinny happy dance. My nutritionist is a little upset with me though for not getting in enough carbs with all the exercising I'm doing. I'e been running 5K's almost every week now and some 10K's and am training for a 1/2 marthon Oct.3 at Hampton Beach. NH. I'm so psyched about the new me but there have been a lot of ups and downs along the way this year. Who would have thought you would lose friends because you got thin and they are still, well lets be nice and say, chuncky. I've gone froma size 20W last summer to a loose fitting size 10 at the moment. Hubby is supportive but also concerned that  I'm not eating enough. My personal goal was to hit 160, which I think will be here before you know it, but with all the running I'm doing I think I'll probably be more like 150 onthe day of the race.
To all of you out there who have ben there for me thispast year,THANKYOU! You are an awesome bunch of people, especially my exersize partner who I met here on OH.
Blessings to all.

Jamie
