Other than that I did alright. Tried to get activity in without the gym. This week I went swimming with the family, played some softball and had a nice long bike ride. Yesterday I even used mowing the lawn as an excuse to not go to the gym, but at least I did something!
Overall this week I got in 305 min making my monthly total 1150.

This weekend went okay for me. I know I did not drink enough, but I ate well, Dave and I shared! I did not even get on the scale this morning because I was not going to have it get me down at all.
So Breakfast: Greek yogurt with 100 calorie pack cocoa roasted almonds
Lunch: I am going to shaws and getting a chili.
Dinner: Not sure, but hubby will probably make pasta
Snacks: I have bonny bell cheese and cottage cheese. Will probably have something on the way down to the meeting.
Dave and I are speaking (damn, I wish I had remembered to bring my old pants!!!), and have lots of pictures. It will be great to meet everyone, and a privilege to share the spotlight with my friend!
There is a support group at Parkland Hospital. It is run by the Portsmouth Regional Hospital group. It is a very small group, and most of them are not on here very much anymore. It is a great group of people though. The meetings are at 6:00 in the in-service classroom at Parkland Medical Center. The general meeting is every first Monday, the post op meeting is every 3rd Monday.
if i get to the gym monday morning it sets the tune for the whole week!
i have a bunch of pictures and a pair of my old pants to bring.. i put them on last night (over my clothes) and i cant beleve how big they are! it was funny!

I must admit that I have an advantage...My wife had RNY 20 months ago and I have seen all the ups and downs and all that she needs to do. We joke that I was the "pill police" at that time ensuring she got all her water, protein, meds, walks, etc. Now turn around is fair play... She gets to be the pill police! So I am blessed by having a built in support system.
I have found this site (I also monitor the mens only list) very helpful and supportive.
Take care and write any time you have a question or concern.
