Jen,
Wish I could help with a handy man, but if you can't find anyone PM me and maybe we can work something out with my oldest son if he has not left for boot camp before then.

I will pray for you son that things go well for him and your family.

Lets start with the hug, and prayers that things get better for you soon.  I have the RNY so I can't help with the band issues, but all I can say is do you think a fill would help?  Candy is a huge problem for a lot of people.  I would start with a meal plan, plan out what you are going to eat for the day.  Keep healthy protein snacks around and GET RID OF THE CANDY!!!!!!!

When you get bored, depressed or even happy we tend to turn to food.  It is  a comfort and a constant in our lives.  Where is the candy the worst?  Home, work, car, all of the above?  Take one little step today, and don't beat yourself up about it.  If you decide to go back for the RNY feel free to ask questions I am almost 2 years out, and loving my RNY.  I still dump on certain things and am maintaining my weight within 5lbs so I am very happy.

Know we are here and I hope this helps.

hello Alton people, I am looking for a rubbish removal, weekly , no separation.

My son is having a heart/cardiac ablation in a few weeks...(only 36 )
And he usually take shis trash ti the Alton dump.
However in recovery for about 2 weeks he is not suppose to lift heavy items,
so I was thinking of hiring a rubbish removal, preferably no separation needed but otherwise is fine as they already do separate.

I can not find a local company.

Anyone in Alton or near by that could suggest a business??
I greatly would appreciate it.
Thanks, Jen
Hmm, wondering if Wolfeboro goes to Alton, he is just over the Wolfeboro line.
I would even pay alot extra.       4 weeks for 100.00
I would consider even a man with a truck ?
Again thanks
Possibly mowing the lawn once or twice?
Never though of a handy man???

Jennifer

Unfortunately, I've had a tough year with my band and thinking of going back to ask for RNY option. Other illnesses, a divorce, falling and breaking ribs...depression...had lost 104 pounds, struggled with candy, but this past year...just let my whole schedule go and have gained back 65 of what I'd lost. In a year!! So bummed. Surgery was 3 years ago.

Yes this is grazing.  It is just something to do.  I would recommend more protein, or if you are snacking snack on protein, baby bell cheese, Greek yogurt, or maybe some sliced turkey.

I try not to have too many cookies in the house or at work so I have to avoid them.  I do like the protein crunch bars they are not great but better than cookies or candy protein and sugar wise.

For protein shakes do you like orange?  If you add orange crystal light to vanilla protein you get a cream-cycle.  or you can add it to SF apple cider and get apple pie.

 Hope that helps.

Topic: RE: CMC program - how long til surgery?
You're in a great program, went through CMC for my. I was there for a while for other issues (had to take 6months off). It seems like a long time but it goes by fast. At least it did for me. Once I meet with the surgeon, surgery was scheduled that day but it was about 3 weeks from than.

Keep up the good work you will be happy when it happens.

Topic: Emotional
For the past year or so I have been really good not to eat because of my emotions until this week. For some reason I feel like a bottom less pit, I am always eating.
Is this grazing? Ex. this morning I hit the gym for 1 hr like normal, got home and had my vitamins and breakfast cookies. Then an hour later I was in the fridge again, just a slice of bologna, an hour after that I had another cookie. about an hour and half later I had lunch 2 slices of turkey and some olives, then an hour later a protein bar, its been about 2 hours since then and I just grab a hand full of crackers.
Could it be I am not getting enough protein in my meals? I need to find a different protein. I am sick of the taste of the vanilla.
Ideas or help?
