Hi NH--had my banding done yesterday. I was home by 9:30 pm. It went very well. I'm getting my water in. Now I just need to get all my walks in. Excited by the hope of my new life. But I will admit that I fear I will mourn the loss of my friend, food ~:o( Lise

I will not lie the first two weeks seem to be the hardes****ching tv and seeing all the food commercials killed me, matter of fact I had quit smoking but went back to smoking because I just couldn't handle the fact that I couldn't chew anything. I wasn't hungry but it was just a mourning period I guess for food. Once I got over the two weeks and onto my mushy food I was doing great. Take your time with the exercise and give your body time to heal, start out slow. Welcome home glad to hear everything went well. Good Luck. Jennie
