I am looking for info. and comments if you have had your surgery here. I am looking to have Lap Band.

Hi Lesli. As you read on my profile, I have nothing but good things to say about the bariatric program at DHMC. I know they are experts with RNY surgeries but am not sure how many Lap Bands they have performed. I'm sure they can give you all of the stats. I had an excellent surgeon, was very well prepared before surgery and expect very good aftercare. Best of luck! Stephanie

Lesli, Dr. Trus does the Lap Bands. You can check for information under Bariatric Surgery Program at www.dhmc.org I have nothing but the best to say about DHMC. The staff and physicians are excellent. (I don't say that just because I work here). K
