Who's out there, New Hampshire? C'mon back...
Hi, everybody,
We're trying to liven up the NH board, strengthen our community of friends, so to that end -
How are you all doing today? Check in, won't you?!
I am sick of this return to winter and switching from 60 degrees and sun to snow in 24 hours or less. Did anyone else have a thunderstorm Monday night?
I have my appointment scheduled with the surgeon at the Obesity Treatment Center at CMC in Manchester. Finally got through the six weight loss/check in visits required by my insurance. This pre-op stuff has been going on long enough!
Have a wonderful day! Love, Anne
My husband and I just experienced our first thunderstorm in New Hampshire Monday night (we moved in February). It was funny because the news said possible thunderstorms and my husband the weather nut said it doesn't thunder in the winter time. We went to bed and laying there it was really loud and long, I turned to him and said I thought you said it doesn't thunder in the winter, he said that isn't thunder, so I guess we must of had a ufo landing in the backyard....LOL He agreed it was thunder.
Good luck with your upcoming appointments and many Blessings on your journey.....
Jennie
Jennie,
My husband took a meteorology course and he has never been the same, LOL. Welcome to NH! I am on my way to Washington DC for the weekend - my parents are both 78 and my Mom has a follow up appointment with her oncologist and I couldn't stand the thought of her going all alone. My Dad is in a nursing home after a fall but should be discharged in a few weeks so we have to explore semi-assisted living options for them. Yikes - I am an anxious traveler (heck, I am just plain anxious, 24/7) and don't like being away from Scott and my little golden retriever puppy, Maya.
Take care and warm wishes,
Anne
I definately wish you a safe journey, and good luck finding the assisted living facility for your parents.
As far as traveling well I have that down pat, being a Navy wife I don't really have a choice always use to being alone and traveling on my own. But you will be fine, and home before you know it.
Blessings,
Jennie
