My WOW Moment Today
We just got back from Connecticut late late Saturday evening and came home to a lot of snow. Well my husband had to get up early Sunday morning and had duty so I wouldn't see him until Monday night. I was sick Sunday and was not able to handle all the snow in the driveway. He said he would take care of it Monday, but he got home really late Monday night and had to be up at 2am on Tuesday to get back to the boat. So this morning (Tuesday) I hit the driveway, I went out near the mailbox and there was so much snow, the mailman won't deliver if it isn't cleared out so I figure I better dig in.
Well just as I started someone is beeping their horn at me. I look up and two guys in a pickup truck with a plow, roll down their window and tell me to step aside. They cleared the whole area for me. I cried no one has ever offered to help me before. It was the sweetiest gesture ever. All those years of living in Navy Housing and my Husband being deployed none of the other guys ever helped me and these two wonderful strangers didn't even stop to think. They saved me so much work, God Bless Them!!!!!

You know everyone told me that they hated it up here because everyone is so "snoody", well first I am use to that comment growing up in Connecticut. But I am loving it up in New Hampshire, everyone I meet has been so friendly to me. I ran to the post office today and I had my Navy sweatshirt on, the gentleman behind the counter and I got into this whole conversation and he welcomed me to New Hampshire, I told him I have really been enjoying my time here, I don't know what everyone is talking about, I think they all have bad attitudes to begin with.

Isnt it wonderful to see humans treating each other with kindness? I try to focus on this, and truly believe humans are mostly good. Watch enough TV and you wouldnt think so! I try my best to be kind to people I come across; offer help in a store when someone looks lost, etc. I dont do this to pat myself on the back; I just think maybe then they will pass on the kindness to the next person. Cant hurt anyway!
Blessings to all

Welcome to NH, Jennifer! This truly is a wonderful state, and Lee is a great town! Close to the city (Portland, Manchester AND Boston), close to the beaches, close to the mountains, etc. Glad you like it here! My surgery was just one day before you, and I am 15 minutes up the road. We should keep in touch!!!
Oh, and WELCOME SPRING!!!!
