Dear Friends - I am sorry I had to miss last night's meeting. We are in the midst of construction in our home and we're trying to get everything done before Christmas. I still have the Sharpie markers and the Dr's Lab coat for post-op patients to sign I WILL be at our last meeting on Dec. 21st. If you want to sign it, please be there. Also - are we able to continue our support groups ? I got an email last month from the group leader stating I have an interest. Did you guys discuss that last night ? Much Love, Kym

Hey Kym, Sorry, I missed the meeting too. It was the last week of classes for me and things were kind of hectic for me that week. I would also like to know if the group is going to continue. If we can no longer meet in the hospital, I thought we can have informal meetings at my school. I would have to do some asking around about that, but it was just a thought. I'm going to try to make it to the next one. Hope to see you there. Daniela

Hi Kym, Do you know if the hopistal will let us use their conference room for our support group meetings? If not, I was thinking we could all meet at a restuarant or one of our houses for a meeting, maybe once a month or something. I really want to maintain contact with every one. I love the idea of the lab coat with our signatures. I think Dr. D will love that. I really wish we could have one last gala, as he did every year. What a blast we had last year, getting all dressed up and seeing everyone in thier beautiful dresses! That would have been the best farewell, but what can ya do? Let me know your thoughts on having a meeting in another location if the hopsital doesn't allow us to use their space. Hugs, Denise

Hello eveyone ! I haven't heard back from the PhD lady in charge of our group since that very first email, asking if I was interested in continuing our Support Group. I think we'll get our answer on Dec. 21st. I would definitely support the idea of a restaurant or library or somone's house to continue ... if they say we can no longer use SNHMC. We'll have to wait until the 21st to find out. PLEASE don't miss this one as it's your last chance to SIGN the lab coat ( they actually gave me one with his name embroidered on it love, Kym

I really want to make the meeting on the 21st - I've missed so many lately and now it'll be gone. If you're thinking of a resaturant to meet at I've always found Panera Bread to be a good place to gather with friends. It's a nice informal place where you can sit and talk as long as you like. best wishes all. diane
