DR. DRINKWATER IS LEAVING

** URGENT NOTE FROM JEN*** Thank you for your email. As you can imagine, it's been pretty hectic this week for the office and difficult to reach everyone individually by phone. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Dr. Drinkwater did come to a decision to take the position in Massachusetts, one that he and his family could not turn down. It was not an easy decision, and I know that he appreciates all of the support. This week we are doing our best to contact other bariatric surgeons and strong programs in the area, many of which have been very supportive. We will be notifying everyone with all of these details and assisting in the transfer of care. A letter should be sent out within two weeks. He will be here for 3 months to see post op patients as regularly scheduled. We will also have our support groups through the end of this year, with most of the team attending on 11/16 to talk about this further. We will do everything we can to make sure each patient has the best follow up care & assist them during this time. I did pass along your email to Dr. Drinkwater and will share with administrators as well.
