At the last Support group, I came to realize there were a lot of folks who normally attend, that were not there ... and those of whom we haven't seen for a while. I have made it my personal mission, to email each of Dr. Drinkwater's patients on this website, and do my best to make people excited about the next meeting. I love our Support Groups. The personalities, backrounds, lifestyles, shapes and sizes are very different. Physically, mentally, and spiritually, everyone's experiences are very different, but one person's testimony is all it takes to have an impact on you! You will discover how much you have in common. You should always take away what you need and leave the rest behind. There's so much to learn, if you take the time to listen. Take the time to care. If the road has been easy ... or if it's been difficult, we all need each other. That's why it's called a SUPPORT group! If it's been a while, and you've stayed away because you thought you were not needed, or you were too busy, or that no one has asked you to come ... consider yourself asked ! SEE YOU on WED. SEPT. 7th !!! ~ Kym from Weare

Kym, Do you have to be a patient of Dr Drinkwater? I had my surgery in Boston, but do not attend support groups because I don't want to go all the way to Boston. I never know how long it is going to take. Also, do you know if he sees other surgeon's patients for follow-up? Carrie
