I dont know if anyone remembers, but July 12th I brought my cat Jasmine to the Pat Brody cat shelter. My husband has asthma and is allergic to her-after all these years(10). If it was just him, he could live with it, but my 3 yo daughter is showing signs of being allergic also. So with a heavy heavy heart I surrendered her. It broke my heart. I have never cried so much........ Well last night I got my email and my cat Jasmine has been adopted!!!!!! An 84 year old lady named Mary adopted her last weekend. Her last cat died a month ago and she liked Jasmine from the moment she read about her. I AM SO FRIGGIN HAPPY!!!"jump: I started bawling when I read it. She even sent pictures!-still crying- I had to tell someone!!! BYE! CHris

She was our first child! We had her 10 years. I miss her so much and sometimes think I see her! I still reach up when I sleep on the coach, she used to sleep right above me. I miss her a lot. I havent cried like that in a long time. It broke my heart to give her up. But my husband and dauighter have had improvment already. I guess this is how it was meant to be. Chris

Oh Chris - I realize I'm a little late with this response, but I'm SO HAPPY that Jasmine found a great home! As far as I'm concerned, my pets (Maine coon - Miles and golden retriever - Rio) are family members and I can relate to how awful it feels to lose one. How wonderful that Jasmine is in a loving home with someone who needs her!! Bonnie

Thanks Bonnie! It was so hard to give her up. Now I am feeling better since she has a new home! Chris
