MANCHESTER Health Clubs

I have a confession to make. I have never been to a gym. I know, you are all shocked, but it is true. I have wanted to at times, but felt too intimidated. Well, my dear sweet father who lives in Belchertown, Ma, decided to do his own research and surprise me with a gym membership. He bought me a 1 year membership at The Executive over near the airport. Does anyone else go there? Is it very uppity and snobby? I am so nervous. Dad said it was very expensive, so I have to at least try it. He says they have a great child care area and fitness programs for older kids, but I am scared of what the demographics are like ther. Anyone have any idea? thanks, Carrie

Im not sure about the Executive... Ive heard its kind of a ritzy place but I myself have never been there. Im thinking of joining Planet Fitness... BTW Carrie who are you having your surgery with.... if you dont mind me asking!

I used to work in Bedford and went to the Women's Gym over by the Channel 9 studio on Canal St. Totally awesome! No skinny women in leotards, etc. Hot tub, showers, classes and childcare. Check it out... Good luck with your surgery. Karen 08/18/05 surgery scheduled at DHMC,Lebanon
