How many Dr. Drinkwater patients are here?

I am doing very well. I see Dr D tomorrow and hopefully will have a good loss. I dont have a scale so it is a surprise every time I get weighed. I would totally obsess about weighing myself. I hate the dating scene too. I have been married 9 years and wouldnt want to do it. Unfortunately I do not know any single guys. I am sure you will find a good guy. They are out there. Hey all! I am actually signing up for Dr. Drinkwater. I should be getting the paperwork soon. I was going to go to DHMC in Manchester but have heard such good things about him that I am going to switch. I was going to do this at the beginning of the year but kinda got off track so Im starting new. CONGRATS DANIELLA!! We have chatted a few times. Im so glad it going to be it for you soon!! I have Medicaid so hopefully I wont be having many insurance problems as well. Hope to see some of you at the meetings! How often and when are they? Thanks!

Meetings are every first and third Wednesday of the month. The next one is June 15th. Hope to see you there! Chris

Hi Angela ! People start to arrive anytime after 6: 15 p.m. The meeting runs from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. ( and some of us are so chatty, we ended up talking 'til 8:15 p.m., after everyone else had left ! ) You'll meet a lot of great folks, and make a lot of friends !

Hi Kym!!! Are you going to be there as well? I have orientation June 22 with his office and to birng my paperwork and all that. Should I go to the meetings before I go to orientation? How are things going for you? Where are you in the process? Its good to meet you!

Sorry, I just saw your post on here. lol. I'm a little behind this week. I'm sure there won't be a problem with you going to a support group meeting. It's open to everyone, pre-op and post-op. So far I have not had one single problem with insurance and I have not even had to deal with them at all. Let me know if you have any questions or want to chat. Hope you can make it Wednesday. I think the same thing about the insurance issue. I didnt have to make a call, or even think about it! Jen knows her stuff and puts everything together to get approved first time around. I love that office!!! Chris

Poking my head in from a west coastie. Hey ladies. I am moving to NH in Mid September and was wondering if anyone knew whether Dr. D (as you all refer to him) picks up patients who have already had WLS? I am very interested in the meetings. I have even put the time and such down. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated Thanks. Mary

Hi Mary! I am glad you poked in and said hello! So you will be our neighbor soon, eh? Awesome! I would call Jenn, who is the program coordinator and ask about transferring patients. I am pretty sure he does accept other patients, because I know of one patient who had the surgery from another surgeon and is now in our program. Whether or not those cir****tance were different, I don't know, but I am pretty sure he does accept other patients. The phone number is 603-577-5757.
