Pregnant After Surgery

Im in my 7th month of pregnancy. Have had no complications what so ever. But, I was wondering if anyone whos been pregnant after gastric bypass, if they had any problems in the delivery room...I do have a pretty large scar and not sure if I will need a c-section or not. Doctors said I should be fine b/c its been 3 years since surgery, that my scar is healed fully. Also, I am curious if anyone was able to breastfeed with no problems. Im just concerned for the baby is there would be enough 'nutrients' per say in the breast milk. Any information would help! Thanks! Tracey

I've never heard of a problem with delivery after surgery. Also, the baby will get what it needs from you. It will be important to make sure you get good supplements. Conmgrats, hope all goes well. How lucky for your child to have a ehalthy Mom! Pat
