:-s HELP~~~~ NEED SUPPORT GROUP IN CONCORD AREA??!!

Hey everyone, I had my surgery in Mass and I am looking for a support group. I can't get down there enough. Can anyone help me? Thank you, Kristen

We have a great support group in Nashua. Southern NH Medical Center. Its the Obesity Center @ SNHMC, run by Dr Drinkwater. Everyone is so supportive and there are lots of people there. I dont know of any in Concord area. You are welcome to come join us. Good luck! Chris

Hi Kristen ~ We have two support groups in Portsmouth, NH if you are interested. The 2nd Monday of the month the Post-Op patients meet from 5:30 until 7ish at Portsmouth Hospital. On the 4th Monday of the month there is an open support group. This group allows anyone thinking about surgery, pre-ops, post-ops and family members to attend. If you need more information contact Nancy Seasman at Portsmouth Hospital. She's our bariatric coordinator. We have many Mass post-ops beginning to use our support groups for convenience. Also, I know there is a group that meets in Somersworth once a month, but I don't know anything else about it. I'll ask around and see if I can come up with more information for you. Kristen, There is a support group meeting at dartmouth hitch****Lebanon the 1st Friday of every month from 1-2, Also there is one @ Dartmouth Hitch**** Manchester the 2nd Friday of every month from 1-2 also. I had my surgery in Manchester in Nov., so I attend the post op meetings in at DHC-Manchester. I only wish they were longer, and we talked a bit about it this month, and we will be discussing a longer meeting next month! Come and join us!!! Hope to see you! Kim
