Hi, We've tried off and on with no success to get this board going. I am also post-op - it will be two years on Feb 10. Holding onto the same weight and wishing I had a ton of money for ps. Would love to get something going here.

Hi Kathy I will be three years in Feb. Best thing I ever did was have this surgery. I am so grateful for the changes in me. Enjoy your Christmas Eve day!

Hi Kimberly, I'm doing quite well, thanks for asking. I'm just about 3 weeks post-op and I've had no complications, thank God and Dr. Drinkwater. I'm not yet into eating really but I'm sure it will come. I did have 5 sweet potato fries, baked, home made last night for dinner. As much as I've been warned about eating protein first, I wanted to have something other than cheese or egg. Anyway, I'm loving it. I've enjoyed getting out and walking but it's dang cold so I just park further out if it's too cold to walk in my neighborhood. Try to walk more while I'm out and about, that sort of thing. I don't like the feeling of fullness at all. I am learning how slowly I need to eat in order to keep the feeling of nausea at bay. I am having some trouble getting in all the water since it takes so long for me to finish drinking the protein shakes but I'll continue to work on it of course. How are things with you? Peace, K

My surgery was open rny in Boston at Brigham & Womens. I had no real complications. I find the toughest job is staying on the straight and narrow now that I am almost three years post op and have lost all my weight.
