Anthem BC/BS

I just got the enrollment information for Anthem for 2005. They'll no longer be covering WLS unless a special waiver is being picked up in the policy. Insurance is such a racket. Had my surgery just in time. diane

Diane! How are you doing??? You are an official post-op! I want to hear all about your hospital experience. How are you feeling? I hope you are doing well. We are very lucky, having BC/BS, that we had our surgeries already. Hopefully everyone else will meet the deadline as well. Can't wait to hear from you!!!! Hugs, Denise

We are VERY lucky to have had our surgeries in time. It has been mentioned that as sucessful post-ops we should write our state representatives and insurance companies to let them know how it has affected our lives. If we all show how wonderful this surgery is, then maybe we can help others get through the insurance hoops they have to jump through. I know I'm 92 pounds since August and feeling great!! Wish I had done it sooner and would recommend it to anyone. Heidi
