Where is everyone from NH!
Hi Sally, Have you picked a program/surgeon yet? I have looked at 2 programs & have found that Dr Drinkwater @ SNHMC offers more structure & help in the process whereas Dartmouth asks that you do all the work to get things done. I met Dr Drinkwater & was very impressed with his knowledge, compassion, & the fact that he gets you started with nutrition right away. I am juist starting a long proicess but hope it ends with me feeling better & weighing a lot less!. Keep in touch. Lets get this page going! Pat
Hi Janie: Long time, no hear! Congratulations on your surgery date!
Did you know that I run a support group for Pre-ops and Post-ops in Somersworth? We meet the first Wednesday night of every month at the First Parish Church Congregational on West High Street. 6-7pm is social time, the meeting begins at 7pm and goes to 9pm. We also do a free clothing swap at every meeting.
I know our next meeting will be too soon after surgery, but we would love to see you in October.
If you need more information, please email me at [email protected].
Linda Breden
PS: I live in Rochester.
Hi,
Good luck to both of you who are having surgery soon.
I too am just starting out. Had my first appointment with Dr. Drinkwater last week. And scheduled to see the nutritionist next week.
I've stopped by here occasionally but there hasn't been much activity. My short cut takes me to the main board first maybe I should make this my first stop.
Oops, lunch time is over. back to work...

Best of luck with your surgery. Hope everything goes well and you have a quick recovery.
