ANYONE OUT THERE???

I am in Concord and am meeting with the surgeon tomorrow. I have LOTS of questions. I expect that, if I get a date tomorrow (which I hear is standard) I will be turned down at least once by BC/BS. I have lost 50+ lbs being extraordinarily careful with my diet and I am not sure I need the surgery since this most recent diet has been so successful. (Although I still have 100lbs to go.) I have LOTS of questions for everyone: other patients, surgeon, those who are post-op. I'll try not to be a pest.

My name is Sylvia and I live in Winchester. I am scheduled for my surgery on May 12th. I agree that it is lonely. What I would like to know is why all the professionals I have talked to, the md's, nutritionists, psychologist, etc are all thin....have never been fat and have no idea...
