New to this forum

Hi Fellow New Hampshirites. I thought I would introduce myself. I live in Nashua and I have my first appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Brown at St. Joes on 7-29. I attend the support meetings there. So far, I am about 95% sure I want the surgery. I have to lose 15 # and I am finding that very hard for some reason. I would love to hear from you. Hugs to all...MJ

Hi MaryJane, Nice to "meet" you! I am new to this forum to, and like you, am about 90% sure about the surgery! I have concerns, but I also know that I can not continue with my current lifestyle. I am getting as much info as possible. How do you like Dr. Brown, or is your upcoming visit your first? I am consulting with Dr. Drinkwater in Nashua as well as Dr. Gould in Manchester. I really feel most comfortable having a choice. Have you heard anything about Dr. Drinkwater? What made you decide on Dr. Brown? Anyway, feel free to e-mail me if you ever need to talk, okay?
