Canobie Lake park
Hi everyone, I'm hoping for some insight into visiting Canobie lake and being overweight. I currently weigh 255, maybe a little more with clothes on. I am currently wearing a size 20 or 22 jeans and I'm 5' 7. I can comfortably fit in any chair I've tried recently and even though I haven't been on a plane I've comfortable ridden in one before when I was slightly bigger than I am now. Can anyone give me any insight as to how comfortable I would be at Canobie lake. Are there any weight requirements I should be aware of before I arrive? Also, I am planning on visiting Six Flags later this summer so any advice on that park would be useful as well. Thanks in advance.

Canobie has a on line guide, it is pretty general but I am trying to include the link.
I hope this works. I have not been there for several ok so maybe 10 years. It sounds like a good time. I would think your biggest worry would be walking all day. I hope that things go well and you can enjoy your Trip.

We just went last weekend with the kiddos, I am a size 20 pre-op and I didnt have much trouble. The new rollercoaster makes you feel a bit BIG because of the bar that goes over the head. However I rode all the rides and had a blast! The Frisbee ride is the BEST!!! Go have a good time... we even did the Turkish Twist and I didnt fall down the wall like I thought I would because of my weight!!
HAVE FUN!! Bring water.. standing in the lines being big makes you sweat like no tomorrow!!

Thanks guys, I am very happy to report back that I went and had 0 issues with any of the rides, even untamed. I have not been able to ride on any amusement park rides in YEARS so I took the chance and rode EVERY one. I did the extreme Frisbee twice, that one was my favorite.
So for those of you who may be planning a trip this summer here are a few pointers. First get a reuseable water bottle and fill it up with water, and freeze it the night before. The water there is more expensive than soda. There are no healthy eating options so bring something with you. That's it, just go, have a good time, and ride untamed. It's awesome.
