Surgery today !!

I cannot believe this day is finally  here !!  Went to my last pre-op support meeting last night and surgery is this morning in a few short hours !!  I am so excited I have been up since 3 a.m. ! I hit my personal goal of losing 50 pounds before surgery just yesterday and I am so ready for the next step. 

I am sure you have completed your surgery by now and you are on your way to the next part of your journey.  I am sorry I missed this post before you went in.  I am sure you will walk walk walk. Sip sip sip, listen to your body and take your time to heal.  you will do great Drop us a line if you need anything.

surgery went very well. surgeon said I was a star patient.  Came home yesterday afternoon, felt great to take a shower.. Slept great in my own bed without noise last night. Haven't take any pain meds in a couple days, really just feel sore./stiff.  Happy to be home and starting full liquids today for the next two weeks. Came home yesterday and had a new laptop on my side of the bed !  Yipee !  I am the only one in the house without my own laptop. have wanted one for a long time. Hubby said good time to get it because I will be home for two weeks so I can put it to good use.  So far so good .... looking forward to being past the healing process and being as physical as I want. In the mean time, will follow doctor's orders to the detail, don't want to cause any complications by not following exactly what I am supposed to do.
