I am employed again!!
So those of you who are my "friends" on Facebook got the good news yesterday. It is not "official" yet, as I need to meet with the woman I will be working with (Sam) and then make my decision, but for the most part it is a done deal. It would be really silly for me to not take the job. It is 12 minutes from my house, the pay is better than what I was getting in Concord, the benefits are better, a lot less stressful, flexible hours, and did I mention that it was 12 minutes from my house! The work is totally out of the area I have worked in for the last 16 years, but it sounds very interesting. The firm is the closing agent for the Small Business Administration's 504 loans. The attorneys are licensed in New Hampshire and Florida, so they prepare and finance the loans for both New England and Florida, Georgia and Alabama. I am not 100% sure what exactly they do, but everyone there is very low key and nice, oh and one of the women I will be working with was one of my daughter's friends in high school, and my friend works with Attorney Roman's wife (small world).
So I am meeting with Sam Friday, then I am working two or three days next week to train, set up my desk, email, and get settled in. Then it is full time on April 4th. I have a 30 day trial period, and then it is officially official! It is a very good thing because I realized that I was not meant to be unemployed!
