OK,  so last night my eldest son had a spaghetti supper for his senior class.  He was to bring desserts.  Knowing the last time we did this they ran out of desserts I decided to add to what he had already made (a chocolate cake with hand dipped chocolate covered cherries).  I went home after work threw together white cupcakes with a chocolate glaze.  I didn't even lick my fingers once .  I know I dump, but I wasn't even tempted when before my RNY I would have been all over the batter and the frosting.  I know it doesn't seem like much, but with everything going on in our lives right now (hubby still in the hospital 3 hours away) and all the school happenings,  & work I am very proud of myself that I did not stress eat or even think about it.

I am  very close to losing 100lbs and I want to hit that mark by Christmas, the best present I can give my self.

Thanks for letting me pat my self on the back and vent all in one.

That is a HUGE feat I can't even imagine being able to beat (I have made LOTS of cookies and therefore had LOTS of cookie dough.. but not nearly as much as in the past).

I know the reason I have been eating the cookie stuff is because of life stress... with everything you have going on I that much more impressed with your success over the finger licking!!

Hope Dartmouth can find out whats going on with Hubs and get him fixed up!! They are working on fixing my hubs up too so I understand how the distance blows, but hopefully in the end it will all be worth it!

Thanks everyone!!! My next test is fudge for the holidays.  I always make fudge for my family, and they have already asked if I am still making it this year.  I also sell some at work, so this may be tough, but I think I am doing OK with cooking and things.  I am working on some sugar free and lower sugar recipes and such for Hubby and I.  I know things need to fit into our lifestyle and food choices need to work for us.  Thanks again everyone it has been a roller coaster and I am loving the ride.
