September Exercise Challenge Weeks 4 and 5
Hi everyone,
So sorry that I have been slacking. Has been a really weird two weeks. I have struggled with a cold, and now day 4 of a headache. It is getting better though, so I hope to go to the gym. About the only thing that has saved me is my activity on the weekends. Major house cleaning, and we went to boston Saturday, and finished cleaning the house on Sunday. Plus all my walking at work...so I figured that I put in approximately 300 for the two weeks, bringing my total to 1080. Not close to my goal, but there is always October.

OK so I guess I missed week 2 lol but that was the weekend we went away for my birthday and that was a great week for walking.
Week 2 - 30
week 3 - 22
Week 4 - 18
So I met my goal and I am looking forward to making it even better this month. I pace at all of the soccer games and the fields are never close to the parking lot so that adds quite a bit of walking. I am also now walking ( starting to jog) at work most days trying to get ready for the 5k October 27th. I am not sure if I will do the run or walk it, either way I am committing myself to the race. Now I have witnesses that will hold me accountable to make it there. Next is to come up with an easy costume to run/walk in.

I have been all out of sorts this month when it comes to activity. I think it all started with that stupid cold (which I still an fighting!) and the change of seasons that has thrown everything off. In summer I was out all the time doing stuff but now that seems to be slowing down consiterably with the cold moving through. I have been hitting the gym more but I find it depressing to leave the gym @ 630 and have it be dark outside :(
So here is how I did
Week 4: 410
Week 5: 300ish (I may have gone over but Im not exactly sure so Im sticking with the 300)
So, my monthly total is 1610. I definatly lucked out with the 5 week month to get that all in!
I hit my goal, but I just don't feel like I exercised as much as I would have liked to towards the end of the month. But I did get in 505 minutes for the last two weeks, and I had 320 from the week before, so my total for the month ended up being 1590.
