Tuesday!!!!!
Well after my day from hell yesterday, it can only get better. I really resisted the temptation to go downstairs to the vending machine and find chocolate!!! I didn't but it was most certainly calling me.
so my plan for today:
Breakfast: Cottage cheese and 1/2 sandwich round with 1 tabls light cream cheese
Lunch: I found a Wendy's near my work, and I really could go for chili today!!
Dinner: Having dinner at my in laws, so I have no idea!!
Snack: Well I have 4 greek yogurts in the fridge as well as baby bell cheese and pure protein bars, so I have my pick, if I need one. Lately I have not really needed a snack at all, hence the 4 greek yogurts in the fridge.

OK here's hoping today is better for us all, Monday ganged up on me and is still trying to kick my butt this morning.

Dinner, either burgers or my version of chicken parm (chicken in NSA Sauce with provolone)
depends on how late school shopping goes

Yesterday went well until I got home. My parents were in Montreal (my favorite city in the world) and brought us back croissants. Holy God they are good.... and I ate my for dessert :( Apparently I have a weakness for pastries that begin with the letter 'C'. Need to keep working on my parents to NOT bring me food i guess!!
So todays plan

Lunch: Steak w. a scoop of chili in hopes of keeping it moist in the microwave
Dinner: Sausage with onions and pepper
Snack: I have baby bell at home in case I get hungry before dinner. i have been getting hungry after the gym as of late, and dinner never seems to be ready when I get home
Activity went alright yesterday. Hit the gym and tried another run. Another half mile before I couldn't work through the pain anymore. Was bad enough to wake me up last night and still hurts today. I think running is on hold until I see the doc @ the end of Sept :( Going to try to walk at lunch and work through some of it.

Thanks for sharing your success at the meetings. It is encouraging to me. I feel that my initial recovery is over and I am able to eating more, I am already afraid that I am going to start up old habits and behaviors. It is nice to hear you and David talk about your successes. I have set a goal to journal my intake for the next three days. Small but acheivable, I feel like I am sneaking in too many things that I don't need, like peanut butter, Gold Fish crackers etc.

You are doing just fine. We all find that posting our meal plan here is a big help. It really keeps me on track. It also makes you very accountable! Just take one day, one hour, one minute at a time. Remember, your surgery is only a tool, and you must change behaviors. It is so hard, but I know you can do it.

Breakfast : greek yogurt
Lunch: Bowl of Zuppa Tuscana soup at olive garden
Dinner: Salad with chicken and cheese cubes for protein
Snack: protein bar
Today has been a good food day. That Olive Garden soup is pretty great and is high in protein and low in calories and fat. It's win/win and a good option for me since i eat out a lot.
