May today go better for everyone, Lady Catherine I hope Max is doing better today.  Dave I hope you can leave work a bit earlier, Pokes your knee may need a little rest, and Martha Hope your tummy continues to make things better.  As for me yesterdays plan  was thrown out of whack with an en-expected trip to the ER with oldest son deciding to hit his hand instead of the nail he was hammering.  To his defense he was noticing the fire on the electrical cord my brother was using. .......(SIGH)  so I know I ate well for breakfast and dinner, but during the middle of the day all I did was drink crystal light so I need to up the protein today.
FYI Both son & Brother are OK, may need to re-wrap Son's hand tomorrow we will go back and have it rechecked.  Sorry so long before the plan

Breakfast Egg w/ Cheese
Snack  Greek Yogurt w/ SF Berry spread
Lunch Left over Tuna
Snack Protein Bar
Dinner  my son is making home made chicken cordon blue (baked not fried) with steamed green beans.
then collapse for the day !!! Smile for as tough of a day as I had I would not change it for the world, because I am here to do what needs to be done for my family

You may be only one person in the world, but to someone you are the world

sookie what we do on the " not normal days" is what is going to define how this jurney is going to end up! anyone can eat good on a day with no stress or no problems but with us we still eat right on the other days ...

yesterday... well i did get out of work earlier and i did ok with my eating i did add a bowl of fish chowah in just before bed (i was hungry) i guess there is worse things i could have eaten ...
also i went for a 1 1/2 hour walk after dinner last night

today..
well i made it to the gym and did my 2nd c25k work out and followed it up with another 40 min of cardio so the day is starting good..

iced coffee with sugar free coffee mate
breakfast-eas carb advantage shake
lunch- tuna with 6 wheat thins and light mayo
snack- greek yogert
snack 2- pure protein bar
dinner.. i think i am on my own here wife and son are having chicken(bad for me) so i will have to come up with something good.. who knows maybe a burger on a sandwich round ...

hope every one has a good day!

Sookie, sounds like you had an exciting afternoon!! Even if you were low on the protein the fact you stuck to the crystal light and didnt hit up the vending machine was definatly the way to go!!

Yesterday went well for me, stuck to the plan :)

Todays Plan

Breakfast: cottage cheese w. grapes and almonds
Lunch: tuna with wheat things and light may (thanks for the idea Dave!)
Snacks: Fruit leather and almonds (Im worried Ill get hungry w. the tuna lunch :(  )
Dinner: Turkey Sausage w. peppers and onions.

I did well at the gym yesterday too; hit the bike and elliptical then tried out the knee on the treadmill... ran half a mile before I couldnt ignore it anymore. Today I forgot my gym clothes at thome so Ill go home and mow the lawn after work and give my knee some sort of break ;)

We will have to wait and see about that. Im taking a gamble on the tuna today; last few times its gotten LOTS STUCK! Todays experiment will determine if its the tuna or the bread round I was eating it on before ;)

.... and its the tuna. bleck hate stucky food!

Hi all...Sookie, I am glad everyone is fine.  You should definately give yourself a huge pat on the back for not eating whatever was there!  As for me, my stomach was doing okay until today.  I think I have narrowed it down to anxiety, which causes stress, which probably stirs up all kinds of bad stuff in my pouch!  So I am trying to take many deep breaths today.

My plan:

Breakfast:  I had a vanilla shake with CL orange

Snack:  one cheese stick

Lunch:  two pieces of deli turkey and 1 provolone.  (Shhh, don't tell anyone, but I also had one of those single serving sizes of pringles chips....really craving the crunch!)

Snack: pure protein bar....love them!

Dinner:  I am pretty sure I have some tilapia in the freezer.

So Tuna with wheat thins is okay, but I like on Kashi crackers, and it gives you a little bit more protein!

Sooooo (deeep breath) ready to attack the day again!
IF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH HELL.....KEEP GOING!!

I WILL NOT TRY..... I SIMPLY WILL

Hello all =).

Thanks for the well wishes for our Golden Max. He is doing better today and his odds have now increased to 50/50 which is much, much better then they were. The vet twice almost called it in the last few days. He is still young at 3 and maybe that is making the difference.

My plan for today -

Breakfast - yoplait yogurt (the light variety because I only had purchased the one type of greek yogurt) and I only could eat half. That stuff was way too sweet. Which is funny to me because I never would have said that before.
Lunch - cup of sirloin soup (lean meat and veggies)
Dinner - I've no idea. I'll probably read through all of yours again and find inspiration. Going to the store tonight for whatever I'm having for dinner as well as more greek yogurt.
Snack - pure protein bar
