cholesterol

I had my 6 month blood work,,,,and everything that was good when i was over weight...is now bad

my cholesterol had gone up...
vitamin D has gone down...
my hips hurt...

any ideas to help me lower my cholesterol would be wonderful

Exercise and diet....I know...back to that!!!  Really, low saturated fat foods, fat free.  If you like and can tolerate milk, either the simply smart fat free or the smart balance fat free are both very good.  Lean meats, chicken, lots of fish, try and stay away from swordfish, tuna (fresh) other oily fish.  Also use egg beaters instead of eggs.  Exercise is a huge key.  My bad cholestrol is on the high side, but my good cholestrol is off the charts, so my doctor is not worried, but I made many changes because my husband has high cholestrol. 

Vitamin D deficiency is very common.  I take 4000 mg of Vitamin D a day.  I have found a tiny gel cap that is 2000 mg, and very easy to take.
