coffee question?

Hello everyone
 I am now 9 weeks post op and Val approved me for stage 5 yay! So I'm dieing for a dunkin donuts coffee my issue is how to order it? lol Normally before sugery I would get a french vaniella made regular. So I was just hoping for some insight do you find splenda best? Also still do cream or do skim? Any advice would be nice  Thanks

Prior to surgery I weaned myself from equal and light cream to just light cream.  Then (for a short time), I stopped drinking coffee.  About 6 weeks after surgery I started drinking it again with just light cream.  I don't miss the sweetness at all. 

I suppose you can try it with Splenda and see how you do...

Hubby does his with splenda and loves it he used to be a 6 sugar guy.
now down 200lbs he doesn't miss it at all.
Congrats and can't wait to be on the bench beside you!!!

i am 6 weeks out and i have been drinking decafe iced coffee cream and splenda and sugar free flavors (dunkin donuts flavors have sugar i think) i have been going to starbucks and it seems to settel well... i think i might go get one now...

I get my dunkin's coffee with light cream and splenda.  I can't seem to do the skim milk. 

The french vanilla and hazelnut at dunkins is sugar free. I get either one with skim milk 2 splenda.

thanks for all the help. I actually got one this morning and did skim with 3 splenda and it was gross lol. I think it was the skim cause it was way too dark for me. So next time will do cream and splenda lol

I can't do the skim milk either...i do milk...its whole milk, but far fewer calories and fat than the cream...it works for me...try it.

I went on DD's site and all their flavors are sugar free according to the nutritional information.  I have had about all their flavors and I usually have it with extra skim and one splenda.

Thanks Diane, I was going to go to their site and check, because I am addicted to their cinnamon coffee....I would hate to give it up!
