Friday Plan

The last couple of days have been interesting as far as eating goes.  On Wednesday night, I got home, and my husband had made ceviche (marinated shrimp & squid), which was so very yummy, and there was nothing bad in it.  Boy, did I enjoy that.  Then yesterday, I worked from home, and at lunch, I walked down to Chen's Garden on Second St. in Manchester.  This is a brand new restaurant owned by the same family who operates Peking Garden (which is the restaurant my husband and I went to every Friday night for the last 8 years).  Anyway, I met my daughter there for lunch, and we had a plate of sushi and sashimi with a side of seaweed salad and miso soup.  Again, a nice healthy protein-filled lunch.  (My only downfall was the Scorpion Bowl I split with her - oh well).  That lunch was just delicious too!  So today, my plan goes back to the mundane (except for dinner, which will be back at Chen's Garden - it is Friday, after all!):

B-Shake
S-Yogurt, Flax Seed, Blueberries, Kashi
L-Meatloaf (once more -- good thing I love the stuff cuz I've been eating it all week)
D-Chen's Garden (I think I'll be eating more sushi)
Water, Water, Water
Lunchtime walk
Write it all down in Fitday.

I've also had a really good exercise week, so all in all, I'm feeling good about myself.  Haven't gotten on the scale yet.  Maybe tomorrow.  I used to be such a scale *****  Now I never get on.  I don't like what I see when I step on it, so I'm using the fit of my clothes as my barometer.  I'm not feeling much change there yet.  Oh well, just gotta keep on truckin'

Kathy,

What a great week.  I wish mine was the same...though i didn't go crazy on calories...i grazed, and ate and ate and ate.  Crap too!  Carbs, carbs, carbs!

I am a sushi lover too!  Its so good and a great source of lean, healthy protein.  There is a place local to me that makes a spicy tuna salad.  Its spicy tuna over a spinich salad...mmmm!  No rice and all for $4.50.  Great lunch.

Have a great weekend...keep up the good work!
