I got my date!!!!
well lets see whear to start.....
morning of surgery was pretty much what i expected...
wakeing up it the recovery room was a little un-nerving to say the least there was a good amount of pain and a lot of confusion on my part(wonder why) well then we went up to my room and i guess they were having problems with my blood pressure being very high( i don't rember) they got that under control and i was still in a LOT of pain and the pump was not even taking the edge off so they gave me some more and it dulled it a bit... later they decided it was time for me to go for a walk i "jumped" out of bed and then relised that moving fast was not a real good idea as i turned white as a gost and almost passed out(my falt move slow ) oops i forgot the scareist part.. befor they got me out of bed i was feeling a little funny and thaught i neededed to throw up... well when i did it was 1/2 a pan of bright red blood.... i kinda freeked and so did my wife and dad.. well turns out out that is not all that uncommon (but i don't ever remember hearing about it!!) then the walk and i think i went to sleep then (not a good nights sleep with all the stuff going on in the room... bp machine every hour... leg pump all the time..blood draw every 4 hrs... you get the point... so i wake up thursday and they tell me i have to go down for an upper gi well that tool forever (over 1 hour) my plumbing was a little slow to react and every thing stopped at this point till the had me weight in the hall for 1/2 hour then it was ok.. so dr gens came in to see me and said i could start stage one (1 oz water every hour)....well that well of for 4-5 hrs then they said i could go to sage 2 (popiciles and jello) well i had 1/2 of a single popicicle and i started getting neusious so back to water onlt and more meds for the nausia then to bed.. more bolld draws and it was descovered i had a low blood count and would have to give blood every 4 hr to see if my counts came up... they never came up a lot but they stopped going down which is a good thing... so friday morning they told me i would not be going home i got pretty depressed but i figured one more night no biggie.... so at bed time they gave me my "night meds" and i got this feeling that i had something stuck and i started feeling very nausious sooo more meds and some sleep and i felt a litttle better so i got up sat morning and telt a little better then i felt like i had to go #2 and i went into the bathroom and i proceded to expel

a lot of bright burgendy color "bloody waste" that smelled worse then anything i have ever smelled in my life!!
well at this point some of pain in my abdoman started do feel a little better and started to feel the gurgling of "gas" in my stomach and then i was back in the bathroom in like 2 hours more of the same well this time it smelled even worse !!! well i was relesed and made it home ok then more of the bloody stool and the gas sounds that you just would not beleve! as the days have gone by the gas noises are getting better but still a lot! and today for the first time i had a brown stool ! i know this part is gross but no one has ever told us about it!
i think that is most of the "ugly" but i am not sure..... as far as the good every day i am feeling better and a little stonger and the pain is getting better every day! and i am starting to feel like my self again...
and i am down like 20 lbs already!
