Hi everyone,

Dave is doing well.  He is experiencing some pain, but not too bad.  He is able to control it.  His first two days were rough.  Lots of nausea and pain.  He had to stop taking in liquids because of the nausea, but he is doing much better now.  He was released on Saturday.  I spoke to him yesterday, and although experiencing a lot of gas, and other unpleasant things that go with it  he is getting better and better each day.  He just wishes the person who keep*****hing him in the stomach would go away .

Hey!  Good for you Dave!  Sounds like you are doing pretty well. Water tastes gross? You're already walking a 1/2 mile, way to go!!  Congrats!  Cindy

Dave,  from my first day home, I have essentially taken out stock in Crystal Light.  My mouth was always so yucky tasting that I could not stomach plain water.
Congrats on your surgery, I am amazed that you walked so far!!

Ouch!  Lemon Aid is the only one I can't drink.  It upset my stomach too.  I like the Peach Mango tea heated up.  I drank a lot of hot tea, my stomach seemed to like it more when I was first home - it was comforting.  Keep up the awesome work on your recovery!!  Congrats!
