My plan for Wednesday

So I need to get back into my plans for real!!!  Have really been out of control lately.  And just because I have no luck lately, it looks like my gym time is going to be out the window for this week anyway.  I had my second Synvisc shot in my knee, and now I cannot put any pressure on it, walk, and I am in constant pain.  Not fun.  This was not supposed to happen.....

Anyway, enough, here is my plan, and I am going to stick to it today....

Breakfast:  shake with 1/2 cup cherries

Snack:  If I need it, greek yogurt

Lunch:  I have left over shephard's pie

Snack:  Cheese stick

Dinner:  Calzones, but I am making mine very small and lower calorie.

It is going to be hard today for me.  I am home, and not really able to get around.  Actually, except for water it will probably be a good thing I can't move around easily.

I'm so sorry to hear about your knee - I hope you're feeling better soon.

I stuck to my plan yesterday.  In fact, Laurie posted that I should cut out the carbs at snack and lunchtime, which I did, so I feel really good about that.  I also added a salad before the pizza I had for dinner.  Unfortunately, I was still able to get two small pieces of pizza down instead of one, but I did not snack otherwise, and I got in almost all of my water, which after over 2 years, is still a challenge for me.

So I've decided that I am going to strive for eating only one meal with a carb (not including fruit or yogurt -- I mean bread, rice potato, etc.) from now on.

My plan for today:
B - shake
S - yogurt with strawberries
L - leftover roast pork with 1/4 c. applesauce and steamed green beans
S - banana or raisins
D - ??? it may be leftover pizza again or homemade pea soup*

* I took something out of the freezer this morning that looks like pea soup, but I'm not really sure if that's what it is because I didn't write it down on the container!

Water, water, water
Walk or gym at lunch
