Update
So it’s been 10 weeks and things are going great. I am down 73 pounds, just joined a gym and I am finally feeling good, not tired all the time. I love the Obesityhelp website, I always read the New Hampshire Boards and RNY Boards. I have learned so much from so many people and I thank you all for that. I wish I could post my meal plan for the day like many of you, but with 2 kids I spent way too much time planning there meals, I don't have time for mine.
I have finally found a protein drink I can tolerate, well I shouldn’t say that – I actually like it. YEAH!!! It’s about time!! It is Max Protein from GNC – you can only get it at the family owned ones, not the franchises. Thank you Angey for telling me about it. Here is a great tasting Protein drink:
1 cup of water
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp of sugar free cappacinno (Hill Bros.)
It’s great cold, and warm and doesn’t taste or smell like protein at all.
I also made pulled pork and this was real easy too, with lots of protein:
Pork Tenderloin
1 bottle of diet rootbeer
Light BBQ sauce
Cook pork with the diet rootbeer in a slow cooker on low for 7 hours, drain rootbeer and the pork just falls apart, than add the desired amount of BBQ sauce. MMMM, is was so good. The original recipe was for regular BBQ sauce and rootbeer, so I just adjusted it to make it more bariatric friendly.
