Cardio bores me!!!!!!!!!

I was good today...went to the gym...hit the eliptical...BORING...it wasn't that it was hard, i just get so bored with cardio...tried music...does nothing for me!  I think i may try a class or something.  I think this is a big reason why i don't get motivated to go to the gym.  I did do it though...and then did some weight training...and ABS...oh love the ABS!  OUCH! 

Anybody find things that help get through the boredom? I wish i had a gym partner but i don't :(

Eating went well for me today...Made those shrimp tacos i was planning earlier in the week..they were pretty good!

Going to try and make the gym tomorrow too...bored or not!

i have been listening to a audio book on my i pod and that seems to help me.. when i am a little slow i listen to some loud music and when i need the time to pass i put on my book and it seems to go much quicker!

shrimp tacos sound good can you post the recipe?

Hi Kris,

The gym did get boring for me too.  But it is better than not exercising at all.  I "amuse" myself by watch other people at the gym.  It is really funny especially this time of year.  I spent one night jus****ching a couple trying to figure out how to use equipment.  Is that bad?  It just made the whole time go by so fast.  I also listen to kick butt music!!!  Something I would not normally listen to.  But I will have to admit that people watching is the best!  I also like watching those guys who are totally in love with themselves, and the mirrors.

 Kris, where do you go?  I go to Planet Fitness.  Cardio is boring for me too, but PF has a circuit where you do a half hour of weight lifting with cardio mixed in.  Makes the time go faster because you spend 60 seconds on a machine, then 60 seconds on a step, then 60 seconds on another machine, etc.   That does the trick for me.  Otherwise, as I always say, "If you want time to stand still, just get on a treadmill or an elliptical!"
