question about calories for those who are at goal or close to it

Hey everyone,

I'm just looking for some feedback on calories.  I am 1 year and 4 months out...i pretty much hit my goal...size 10 and 155lbs at 11 months.  I fell back a bit and gained 4 or 5 lbs over the holidays, starting a new job etc...

I am really tracking things now and am realizing i'm taking in about 1000-1300 calories a day, and 70-90 grams of protein.  Just wondering where some of you might be at...and what you think about those stats?

Hi Kris,

Congrats on goal and size 10!!  I had surg. just a couple weeks before you.  I am at goal (well, a little under, 145lbs) and a size 10 also!  Just yesterday I wrote down everything I ate
and calculated the calories and protein.  I was just about where you are on calories, but I had much more protein (but I also ate more protein than usual.  I had a protein bar AND a protein hot chocolate that equaled 29g of protein.....that I normally don't have.)  I also burned 700cals at Jazzercise (I wear a hr monitor with all my stats to get accurate cals expended.)  Looks like you are in the right cal. and protein zones.  If you are maintaing goal, I wouldn't change anything.

Hi Kris,

I think you are right on target. I'm 18months out and below goal - 131 lbs and a size 6 or 8.
I exercise faithfully 6 days a week. I take in 1200 - 1400 cals a day and between 90 - 110 grams of protein. Keep up the good work!
