Saw Nancy today...

Saw Nancy today. By their scale I have 4 more pounds to lose!!  , GRRRR!! BUT, I go Monday for all my pre-op testing and then the 18th for my first meeting with Dr. Gens!  Hoping surgery might happen this month. So excited things are happening, but nervous to that it is getting closer! YIKES!  Gotta lost thee last 4 pounds fast!!!   Cindy

Congrats. I have met with Dr. Gens he is my surgeon too. Hes so nice. I went to have all of those pre op testing done. I actually meet with him again on Wednesday. I should be getting my date then. Im starting to get really nervous about this. But looking forward to the end results. I hope all is well. And again congrats on only having 4 more pounds to lose. Sonya

I found once I had my appointments all set up I got even MORE morivated and lost the weigh I needed rather quick! (I was 4lbs above when scheduled for testing, at testing I was 2lbs above after drinking the, what I would have to say is 10lbs of barium, then a week later at surgery I was 6lbs under).
Good luck with everything!!! Dr Gens does a great job, is nice, and gets a good night sleep before he does surgery!! (but you might not see him after he is done... I didnt :(  )

Hi! Thanks for the reply!! I think you are right, I do feel more motivated with the testing day coming up! I have lost 1 more, so now I am at 3. I expect I will see Dr. Gens after surgery as I am having RNY so I will be there for a couple of days, but you didn't see him after at all? He didn't even come in to check on you before you were discharged? Thats seems weird....How are you feeling?   Cindy
